NOTICE OF THE REGULAR MEETING

OF THE COW CREEK GROUNDWATER

CONSERVATION DISTRICT KENDALL COUNTY, TEXAS                      


NOTICE is hereby given that the regular meeting and a public permit hearing of the Cow Creek Groundwater Conservation District will be held on Monday the 10th of June, 2024.  The meeting and public hearing will begin at 6:00 P.M. and will occur in the District Meeting Room located at 9 Toepperwein Road, Boerne, Texas, at which time the following will be discussed, and appropriate action taken, pursuant to Chapter 36, Water Code; and pursuant to V.T.C.A. Government Code Section 551, Open Meetings, including all subchapters and sections:

  6. Permit hearing, discussion and possible action on the following pending transfer permit and operating permit applications:
    1. The Applicant, The City of Fair Oaks Ranch is requesting a transfer permit for 4.03 acre-feet annually at a maximum instantaneous pumping rate not to exceed 88 gpm from existing well W2760. The well is located at 205 Cibolo Ridge Trail, Unit 1, Lot 4.  Well no. W2760 provides water for a municipal retail water utility.  An operating permit was issued at the April 15, 2024 Board of Directors Meeting.
    2. The Applicant, Mannapov, LLC is requesting 420,000 gallons annually from existing well W6442. The well is located at 42 Cascade Caverns Road in Boerne on approximately 3.12 acres.  Well no. W6442 provides water for a commercial/manufacturing facility.

  1. The District may take a brief recess during the course of the meeting, depending upon the length of the meeting.

At any time during the meeting and in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon’s Texas Codes, Annotated, the Cow Creek Groundwater Conservation District Board may meet in executive session for consultation concerning attorney- client matters (§551. 071); deliberation regarding real property (§ 551.072); deliberation regarding prospective gift (§551.073); personnel matters (§551.074); and deliberation regarding security devices (§551.076).
